»ÆÉ«Èí¼þ¶¶Òõannounces that Kristin Schab has been named executive director of the Office of Alumnae/i Engagement. Kristin will lead efforts to champion »ÆÉ«Èí¼þ¶¶Òõ’s 24,000-plus alumni and engage them in the life of the college.

Twenty-six students have been chosen for this distinguished program, supported by the Roxana Cannon Arsht ’35 Center for Ethics and Leadership at »ÆÉ«Èí¼þ¶¶Òõ College.

Lewent ’70, an accomplished business executive who retired in 2007 from Merck & Co. as executive vice president and chief financial officer, and her husband, Mark Shapiro, have pledged a $10 million lead gift to support the construction of »ÆÉ«Èí¼þ¶¶Òõ’s Science Innovation Center, a $40 million expansion of »ÆÉ«Èí¼þ¶¶Òõ’s existing Hoffberger Science Center designed to meet the demands of science, today and into the future.
