At »ÆÉ«Èí¼þ¶¶Òõ, learning extends beyond the classroom as students and faculty pursue questions
that matter. Through hands-on research, creative scholarship, and collaborative projects,
they explore new ideas, contribute to their fields, and make a difference in their
communities and beyond.
Every spring, the »ÆÉ«Èí¼þ¶¶Òõ Symposium celebrates student learning and scholarship. Explore
the research, creativity, and projects »ÆÉ«Èí¼þ¶¶Òõ students bring to life through in-person
and livestreamed presentations and performances. »ÆÉ«Èí¼þ¶¶Òõ’s summer research program brings students and faculty together for six to
eight weeks of hands-on scientific research, discovery, and collaboration in a range
of disciplines. »ÆÉ«Èí¼þ¶¶Òõ students can apply for summer writing fellowships to support travel or research,
a writing-related internship, or attendance at a conference or workshop. The TORCH project brings together »ÆÉ«Èí¼þ¶¶Òõ faculty and outside partners to develop
teaching tools that incorporate climate science into life science and health science
courses. The ACCESS to PUIs program provides aspiring faculty with mentorship, teaching observation
and feedback, and panel discussions on life at a primarily undergraduate institution.
